Women and Men

Women and Men Women and Men explores relationships, differences, misunderstandings, and the emotional experiences that take shape between people. Here, we write about love and separation, intimacy and distance, loneliness within relationships, control, infidelity, personal boundaries, emotional needs, and the ways people change over the course of a relationship. The aim is not to blame women or men, but to better understand what happens between two people: what brings them closer, what creates distance, what remains unspoken, and why certain patterns keep repeating. Some pieces are narrative, some draw on psychological and social ideas, and others begin with real experiences and everyday questions. Women and Men is an attempt to understand relationships more deeply—and, perhaps in the process, to better understand ourselves and one another.
